I see a cross in the distance,
could be chance,
but God has dominion--
and He'll show us
what He wants to show us.
It's up to us to see.
The earth cries out
in praise and worship
to its creator,
yet so many only see the Deceiver's work,
and credit God's handiwork to chance,
the son of the Deceiver.
Not a sparrow falls without His knowledge,
not a hair on our head without His permission,
we deceive ourselves when we think
we can keep Him out of our world,
out of our heads.
He's there, but when we give chance,
when we give the Deceiver credit,
we give him the power.
Suddenly life is an accident,
life is chance
(as if chance is tangible).
Chance is lack of order,
lack of forethought,
but every molecule, every atom,
even the infinitely tiny,
from eternity past
to eternity present,
is planned in the mind of the Creator.
He set the stage,
chance is the play,
to the deceived.
Eternity is beyond the mind
of a mortal mind,
for a God who always was
and always will be,
would take eternity
to reach present.
Forever for one
within the confines
of time and space.
I see a cross.
I see it when I look for it.
Finding something I look for
doesn't mean it isn't there.
We look for love, love finds us,
we look for the needle in the haystack,
and if the needle is there,
does our search make it less real?
God gave us the ability
to comprehend the cross,
therefore when He gave us the cross,
it wasn't our creation.
Our ability to create
is from the Creator Himself.
Being one with God
gives us the mind
to see what He sees.
The all-knowing Creator
of everything seen and unseen
will bring the unseen into sight
when the time is right,
if we are of one mind with the Creator.
If we are of the mind of the Deceiver,
everything we see
is a deception.
The father of lies
inhabits a mind of deception.
Luck is a lie,
or we are all rubbish.
